Caroline started her Yoga journey in the beginning of her 20s when a good friend introduced her to Ashtanga Yoga. After some time, she had the feeling that there must be something more to Yoga than just Asanas, the physical movements.. so she started to explore more, studying different books and getting more into the philosophy of Yoga.
A couple of years later, she then decided that it was time to stop working in marketing and to dive even deeper into her Yoga journey. That’s when she met her teacher, Peter Clifford, who shares the beautiful philosophy of Anahata Yoga, and did her first teacher training with him.
Soon after she had finished her training, Peter asked her if she wanted to come on a longer journey with him, doing a two years apprenticeship, to learn, grow and evolve even more in her Yoga path. Now, she has been with him, traveling the world and assisting in all of his workshops, retreats and trainings for over two years already.
Anahata Yoga is a very rare and old tradition, which maintains the opening of the heart chakra as a connecting point between consciousness (Shiva) and Kundalini energy (Shakti) and represents love, compassion, charity and balance.
In Anahata Yoga, we believe that the most important thing you’ll ever do in your life is to open your heart to yourself, to love yourself exactly the way you are, without any exceptions and without any conditions, so that you can then love others exactly the way they are as well.
Anahata Yoga is about the exploration of yourself, about opening up your heart and to find out who you truly are and what your true potential is in this life.
This style of Yoga is suitable for everyone. There’s nothing to achieve, it’s about exploration, discovery, learning and growing in a gentle way.
