In this episode, host Faith Hill interviews Randall O’Leary, the founder and director of the Swara Yoga Academy and a dedicated explorer of Yoga since 1991.

He shares with us his path on the yoga journey since his first class in Colorado at 20 years old (with his mum). 

Randall is an explorer and path seeker who is interested in learning, different ways to live and being part of communities. His story is beautifully enjoyable and entertaining as he explains how he became a changed man after his first trip to India, his wild times in the Thai jungle and how he met his guru. 

During the episode, Randall also shares valuable insight, wisdom and anecdotes which we can all take on board, as well as an easy breath technique and his favourite book trilogy.

Randall Swara yoga

Randall O’Leary is the founder and director of the Swara Yoga Academy and has been a dedicated explorer of Yoga since 1991.

His first yoga school, Jungle Yoga merged into the Swara Yoga Academy in 2018.

For the last 29 years, he has studied various practices including hatha yoga, tantra, Ayurveda, indian mysticism, tai qi and viniyoga; all of which he shares in his yoga teacher trainings and classes. He teaches students to cultivate an asana practice that builds & sustains a high level of Prana – our life force energy. 

In 2006, after many years studying with his Guru in India, Randall was initiated into the ancient Indian spiritual order of Sadhus and is honoured to share many unique tools from his sacred tradition.
