Nolita’s passion for yoga first blossomed here at The Sanctuary in 2007, a journey that has developed and continued every day. Her yoga practice has subsequently been a catalyst component of her life as a Bodyworker, Beauty Therapist, Cacao Ceremony Facilitator, Jade Egg Coach, and Hoopdancer.
Completing her 200-hour teacher training with Randall O’Leary at Swara Yoga Academy in 2009, Nolita began assisting in his teacher trainings shortly thereafter. This experience gave her an incredible space to grow as a new teacher as well as to develop her personal practice. She then followed her own heart and direction of the yogic path to Ashtanga yoga. Nolita has studied with a wide variety Ashtanga teachers across the globe, including a one-month intensive with internationally acclaimed Matthew Sweeny.
Nolita’s journey into the path of the Jade Egg also began at the Sanctuary in her first season here when she attended a sexuality workshop and was introduced to the Jade Egg practice; completely unknowing such a practiced existed. She immediately fell in love with everything she was learning and experiencing through her body, femininity and connection to others. She continued to study and practice with her Jade Egg until 2015 when founded Secrets of Jade. This online yoni egg shop gave her a me space to inspire, write articles, create and go deeper with her own Jade Egg practice. She has since had sexuality articles published in My Tiny Secrets and Elephant Journal.
Nolita now spends most of the year on Haad Tien and has been a resident teacher and healer for The Sanctuary for the last six years and is excited to join with Sanctuary Live and take her yoga classes online.
